Breguet
Breguet invented the tourbillon and much of the visual language modern watchmaking still uses. Our selection runs from Classique and Héritage through Marine and Marine Chronograph to Tradition and the Reine de Naples, the line descended from the first wristwatch ever made. Guilloché dials, coin-edge cases, blued hands.

Classique, Marine, Tradition, Reine de Naples
Classique is the core: hand-engraved guilloché dials, a coin-edged caseband, blued steel Breguet hands with their hollowed moon tips, and offset subdials. Moonphase and day-date versions add complication without changing the character. Héritage takes the same design into a curved tonneau case.
Marine is the modern, more robust line, descended from Breguet's appointment as chronometer-maker to the French Royal Navy, and the Marine Chronograph and Marine Alarme Musicale are its most-worn references. Tradition turns the movement outward, exposing the going train on the dial side. The Reine de Naples, an egg-shaped case first made for Caroline Murat in 1810, is the deepest part of our Breguet inventory and the direct descendant of the first wristwatch.
What to look at
On Breguet the dial is the value. Genuine guilloché is engine-turned by hand and reads differently in the light from a stamped pattern, and it is the first thing we check. Case flanks should still show a crisp coin edge; a heavily polished Breguet loses much of what you are paying for. Movement numbers and the secret signature are part of the authentication we do in-house.
Buying and trade
We describe condition as we find it and record box and papers where present. Several references are listed as price on request and quoted on enquiry. We also buy Breguet and take it in trade.
