Luminor, Radiomir, Submersible, Due
The Luminor is the watch people picture: cushion case, sandwich dial, and the patented crown-protecting bridge that locks the crown down. Luminor Marina adds running seconds; Luminor GMT adds a second time zone; Luminor Quaranta brings the case down to 40mm.
The Radiomir is the older shape, with wire lugs soldered to a plain cushion case and no crown guard, and it wears flatter and dressier. Submersible is the true dive line, with a rotating bezel and serious water resistance, offered in Carbotech and BMG-Tech as well as steel and titanium. Luminor Due is the thin one, made for people who love the design but not the slab.
Sizing honestly
Panerai sizes are not negotiable in the way other brands' are. A 47mm Luminor is a large watch by any standard, 44mm is the classic proportion, and 42mm and 40mm are the modern concessions. Because the cushion case has no curve at the lugs, case diameter understates how it wears. Tell us your wrist measurement and we will be straight with you about which case works.
Straps, condition and enquiries
Panerai straps are part of the ownership experience and easy to change, so a worn strap is not a reason to pass on a good watch. We inspect in-house, describe condition as we find it, and note box and papers where present. Pieces listed as price on request are available and quoted on enquiry, and we buy and trade Panerai.
