Octo and Octo Finissimo

The Octo case is a genuinely difficult piece of design: an octagon layered over a circle over another octagon, resolving into more than a hundred facets, all of which have to be finished separately. Octo Finissimo is where Bulgari has set record after record, taking the world's thinnest tourbillon, minute repeater, automatic, chronograph GMT and perpetual calendar in turn. The sandblasted titanium versions are the ones that changed how the brand is seen.

Serpenti and the jewellery side

Bulgari is a Roman jeweller before it is a watchmaker, and Serpenti is the proof: a coiled bracelet watch that has been in production in one form or another since the 1940s, in gold, with scale-set gems and a head that holds the dial. Bulgari Bulgari puts the double-logo bezel on a clean round case, and Lvcea is the modern round women's automatic.

Sizing and wearability

Octo Finissimo is the flattest watch most people will ever try on, and that changes how it wears: at around 40mm across but only a few millimetres thick, it slides under any cuff and effectively vanishes. The standard Octo is thicker and more substantial. Serpenti is sized by coil and wrist rather than by case, so it needs measuring properly. Send us a wrist measurement before buying either unseen.

Enquiries

Our Bulgari inventory is deliberately narrow, and references move quickly. If you are after a specific Octo Finissimo or Serpenti configuration, contact us and we will source it rather than steer you to what happens to be in the case. Every piece is authenticated in-house, box and papers are noted where present, and we buy and trade Bulgari.
