Measuring 41mm across, the Royal Oak's stainless steel case takes its hallmark octagonal form, framed by a matching stainless steel octagonal bezel. A screw-locked crown and glareproofed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal keep the design purposeful, while water resistance extends to 50 metres. The transparent glareproofed sapphire crystal case back opens a view onto the movement within.
Under the crystal, a grey dial carries the celebrated Grande Tapisserie pattern — a precisely executed grid that plays with available light. White gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands, each finished with a luminescent coating, provide clear readability around the clock. A date display rounds out the dial layout alongside hours, minutes, and centre seconds.
The watch is driven by the self-winding Audemars Piguet Calibre 4302, delivering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. A stainless steel bracelet secures via an AP folding clasp. This example is presented in mint condition as a complete 2023 box and papers set.
