Housed in a 43 mm round stainless steel case measuring 13.4 mm thick, this Bathyscaphe features a uni-directional rotating stainless steel bezel fitted with a black ceramic elapsed-time ring. A screw-down crown and water resistance to 300 metres / 1,000 feet reinforce the watch's dive credentials, while a transparent case back offers a view of the movement within. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal completes the case.
The meteor grey dial is populated with dot hour markers and luminescent grey hands, with minute markers tracing the outer rim. A date display sits between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions, keeping the layout clean and legible. Powering the watch is the Blancpain calibre 1315 automatic movement, a 35-jewel, 227-part construction offering an impressive power reserve of approximately 120 hours.
The 23 mm green sail canvas strap fastens with a tang clasp, lending a relaxed, nautical character to a watch built for serious underwater use. This example is accompanied by its original box and papers.
