Built around a 43mm round stainless steel case measuring 14.85mm thick, the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and rated water resistant to 300 meters. A uni-directional rotating bezel completes the dive-ready profile, while a black sail canvas strap secured by a tang buckle gives the piece a distinctly maritime character.
The black dial is legible at a glance, with luminous silver-tone hands and luminous dot hour markers ringed by minute markers along the outer edge. Three chronograph sub-dials display 60 seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours respectively, while the date appears in a window between 4 and 5 o'clock. A column-wheel mechanism governs the flyback chronograph functions.
