Housed in a 42mm stainless steel round case, this Superocean Chronograph 42 is built around the Breitling Caliber 13 — an automatic chronometer movement carrying COSC certification, 25 jewels, and roughly 40 hours of power reserve. The solid case back and screw-locked crown with dual gaskets contribute to water resistance rated at 200 m / 660 ft, while a cambered sapphire crystal glare-proofed on both sides keeps the dial clearly readable in demanding conditions.
The blue dial is organized for legibility: luminous index hour markers, large luminescent polished hands, and a fine-printed minute, seconds, and fractions-of-a-second track surround three sub-dials registering 60 seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours of elapsed time. A 1/100th hour (decimal hour) scale runs along the dial flange, and a date window sits at 3 o'clock. The unidirectional rotating bezel is constructed from polished stainless steel with rubber molding in matching blue.
The watch is secured to the wrist via the stainless steel Professional III bracelet, fastened by a folding clasp with safety latch. Presented in unworn condition with dealer protective plastics removed, it is accompanied by the original Breitling box and papers as well as the Breitling warranty.
