Built around a 43mm stainless steel case, the Avenger II presents its Volcano Black dial with applied steel stenciled Arabic numeral hour markers and a printed white minute, seconds, and fractions-of-a-second track. Luminous-filled steel hour and minute hands ensure legibility, while a cambered sapphire crystal glare-proofed on both sides protects the view. A solid screw-lock crown and screwed-in push-piece guards reinforce the rugged construction, delivering water resistance to 300m/1000ft.
The chronograph layout places a large central seconds hand at center, a 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, and a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock, with the date displayed at 3 o'clock. Powering the watch is the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 13 automatic movement, featuring 25 jewels and approximately 48 hours of power reserve. A unidirectional rotating stainless steel bezel with engraved Arabic numerals and indexes completes the professional profile.
