Housed in a 41mm round stainless steel case, the Aviator 8 Automatic 41 carries the unmistakable character of Breitling's pilot-watch heritage. The black dial features Arabic numeral hour markers alongside a fine printed minutes/seconds track, while luminous-filled hands — including the hour and minute — ensure legibility in varying light. A cambered sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, protects the dial, and a date window sits at the 6 o'clock position. The solid case back and screw-lock crown with two gaskets round out the case construction.
A bidirectional rotatable stainless steel bezel frames the dial, and the watch rides on a stainless steel bracelet secured by a fold-over clasp with safety release. Water resistance is rated to 100m/330ft. Power comes from the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 17 automatic movement, featuring 25 jewels and an approximate 38-hour power reserve.
