Housed in a 42 mm stainless steel round case, the Superocean II 42 centers on a black dial dressed with Arabic numeral hour markers and luminous-filled silver-tone hands. The date appears at 3 o'clock, minute markers line the outer rim, and the cambered sapphire crystal is glare-proofed on both sides for clear legibility in and out of the water. The solid case back and screw-locked crown with two gaskets complete the water-resistant architecture, rated to 500 m (1,650 ft).
A fluted rubber-molded unidirectional rotatable black bezel surrounds the case, while a black Diver Pro III rubber strap fitted with a push-button deployant buckle provides a secure fit on the wrist. Power comes from the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 17 automatic movement, running on 25 jewels with an approximate 40-hour power reserve.
This Superocean II 42 is in unworn condition with protective plastics as applied by the authorized dealer, and it comes complete with a Breitling warranty, the original Breitling box, Breitling papers, and a booklet.
