Housed in a 44mm stainless steel round case, the Superocean II 44 opens through a cambered sapphire crystal that is glare-proofed on both sides, revealing a gun blue dial populated with large grey luminous-filled Arabic numeral hour markers and luminous grey hands. The date appears at the 3 o'clock position, with minute markers tracing the outer rim. A screw-locked crown fitted with two gaskets ensures the watch's formidable 1000m/3300ft water resistance.
Controlling the dive functions is a fluted, rubber-molded unidirectional rotating bezel in blue, mounted on the stainless steel case and engineered to track elapsed time underwater with precision. Power comes from the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 17 automatic movement, comprising 25 jewels and delivering approximately 38 hours of power reserve. The solid case back keeps the movement well protected.
On the wrist, the watch wears on a blue Diver Pro III rubber strap fastened with a tang buckle clasp. This example is unworn, with AD-removed protective plastics, and comes complete with original Breitling papers, the original Breitling watch box, and a Breitling warranty.
