Housed in a round 44mm stainless steel case, this Chronomat 44 features a carbon dial with square black sub-dials, polished steel applied index hour markers tipped with luminescent material, and luminescent-filled polished steel hands. A date window sits between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions, while a running seconds sub-dial occupies 9 o'clock. The convex sapphire crystal is glare-proofed on both sides, and the case back is solid with screw-locked, two-gasket construction delivering water resistance to 500 m (1,650 ft).
Chronograph functions include a large central seconds counter with the Breitling logo at its tip, a 30-minute counter sub-dial at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter sub-dial at 6 o'clock, all operated via screw-in pushers. The unidirectional rotatable stainless steel bezel carries a tachymeter scale with engraved satin-finished numbers. Inside beats the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber B01 automatic movement, counting 47 jewels and offering a minimum 70-hour power reserve.
