Housed in a 44mm round stainless steel case, the Chronomat 44 centers on a blue dial populated with index hour markers, minute markers around the outer rim, and three black sub-dials registering 60 seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours of elapsed time. Polished steel hands carry luminous fill for low-light legibility, while the date display sits between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. A cambered sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, protects the dial, and a screw-down crown secures the solid case back.
Encircling the case is a stainless steel unidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel, and powering the watch is an automatic movement — the Breitling Calibre B01 — housing 47 jewels and delivering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The movement holds COSC chronometer certification. Water resistance is rated to 500 m (1,650 ft), making this a capable companion well beyond the surface.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel Pilot bracelet secured by a deployment clasp with push-button and foldover mechanism. This example is unworn with dealer-applied protective plastics removed and is sold with its booklet and Breitling warranty.
