Housed in a 43mm stainless steel case, the Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 presents a blue dial featuring luminous Arabic numeral and triangle hour markers, a finely printed minutes/seconds track, and a fraction-of-a-second scale around the outer rim. Luminous hands and a date window positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock round out the dial layout. A cambered sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, protects the display, while a transparent case back reveals the movement within. The bidirectional rotating fluted coin-edge stainless steel bezel adds a further layer of aviation-inspired character.
Powering the watch is the automatic Breitling caliber B01, a 47-jewel movement offering a minimum power reserve of 70 hours. The ratchet-wheel chronograph with vertical coupling drives a large central seconds hand capable of measuring to one-quarter of a second, complemented by a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. The screw-locked crown features two gaskets, and the case carries a water resistance rating of 100m/330ft.
The watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet secured by a folding clasp with safety latch, and comes complete with the original Breitling watch box and Breitling papers. Breitling warranty applies.
