Housed in a 46mm stainless steel case, this Navitimer wears a solid flat black dial dressed with applied, polished index hour markers whose tips carry luminous segments. The polished hour and minute hands are luminous-filled, while a black hand sweeps the running seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock. Rounding out the layout are a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock and a fine-printed minutes, seconds, and fraction-of-a-second track. Protection comes from a convex sapphire crystal that is glare-proofed on both sides, paired with a non-screw-locked case sealed by two gaskets and a transparent case back, delivering water resistance to 30m/99ft.
Chronograph functionality is delivered through a large central red seconds hand capable of timing to 1/4 of a second, a 30-minute counter sub-dial at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The polished stainless steel bidirectional rotating slide-rule bezel — Breitling's signature navigation computer — handles airborne calculations including fuel consumption, climb times, and conversions between miles, nautical miles, and kilometers. Power comes from the Breitling caliber B01 automatic movement, which carries 47 jewels and offers an approximate 70-hour power reserve.
The watch is presented on a black alligator/crocodile leather strap with a 24mm lug width and a tang buckle at 20mm. The Breitling warranty applies, and the timepiece is accompanied by its original Breitling watch box and Breitling papers.
