Housed in a 45mm round stainless steel case, this Navitimer B03 Chronograph Rattrapante centres on an anthracite dial fitted with index hour markers, polished steel hour and minute hands carrying luminous fill, and a polished steel seconds hand with a red skeleton arrowhead tip. A printed minute and seconds track with luminous five-minute markings frames the dial, while three sub-dials record up to one-quarter second, 30 minutes, and 12 hours of elapsed time. A date display sits between the four and five o'clock positions, and a transparent case back reveals the movement within. The cambered sapphire crystal is glare-proofed on both sides, and the black stainless steel bidirectional rotatable bezel incorporates a slide rule.
The defining feature of this piece is the rattrapante function, which operates two superimposed central chronograph hands simultaneously, allowing two separate elapsed times to be measured and compared in a single session. Power comes from the Breitling Calibre B03 automatic movement — built on the architecture of the B01 — carrying 47 jewels and delivering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The movement holds COSC chronometer certification.
The watch is paired with a black alligator leather strap secured by a tang buckle, and water resistance is rated to 30 metres. This example is unworn with AD-removed protective plastics still present and is accompanied by a Breitling warranty and booklet.
