Applied polished index hour markers carry luminous-filled tips, while the hour and minute hands are also luminous filled. A convex sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, protects the dial, and a transparent case back offers a view of the movement within.
The automatic caliber B04 — a Breitling manufacture movement housing 47 jewels — delivers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. Chronograph functions include a large central red seconds hand capable of measuring to 1/4th of a second, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. GMT tracking is handled by an additional red arrowhead-tipped hand that completes one revolution every 24 hours, pointing to Arabic numeral and index 24-hour indications printed around the dial perimeter.
