Sized at 44mm, this Chronomat 44 features a stainless steel case with an elongated form and slightly curved lugs. The convex sapphire crystal is glare-proofed on both sides, while a screw-locked, two-gasket construction delivers water resistance to 500m/1650ft. The unidirectional rotating inner bezel is crafted in polished 18k rose gold and carries a tachymeter scale.
The two-tiered "Metallica Blue" dial presents a flat outer ring alongside a square-shaped center, populated by gold-toned applied index hour markers with luminescent tips and polished gold-toned hands with luminescent fill. Chronograph subdials sit at 3 o'clock (30-minute counter) and 6 o'clock (12-hour counter), with a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock and a date window positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock.
Driving the watch is an automatic movement — Breitling's in-house caliber B01, housing 47 jewels and offering a minimum power reserve of 70 hours.
