Housed in a 42mm round stainless steel case measuring 15.10mm thick, the Chronomat B01 42 (reference AB0134101B1A1) is built for legibility and durability. A cambered sapphire crystal with glareproof treatment on both sides protects the black dial, while a transparent sapphire crystal caseback offers a view of the movement within. The screw-locked crown features two gaskets, and the watch is water resistant to 200 metres (660 ft).
The black dial is appointed with index hour markers and silver-toned hands, keeping readouts clean and immediate. A unidirectional ratcheted bezel adds a functional dimension, while the chronograph complication — alongside date, hour, minute, and second displays — rounds out a versatile set of functions for everyday wear.
