Drawing inspiration from the reference 637 stopwatch carried by WWII bomber pilots, the 46 mm titanium case of this Aviator Super 8 makes an immediate statement. The green dial features luminous Arabic numeral and triangle hour markers alongside a fine-printed minutes, seconds, and fraction-of-a-second track, while luminous hands and a white seconds hand ensure legibility in demanding conditions. A cambered sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, protects the display.
The bidirectional rotating titanium bezel — fluted with a coin edge and finished in silver tone — incorporates a red triangular pointer for tracking elapsed time. Inside, the automatic caliber B20, based on the Tudor MT5612, houses 28 jewels and offers an approximate 70-hour power reserve. A screw-locked crown with two gaskets provides water resistance to 30 m / 100 ft. Chronometer-grade timekeeping rounds out the technical profile.
The watch is presented on a brown calfskin leather strap fastened with a tang buckle, and is accompanied by the original Breitling watch box and Breitling papers.
