Housed in a 46mm titanium case, the Cockpit B50 presents a black dial featuring Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 in applied steel, with luminous-painted Arabic numerals at the remaining hour positions. The hour and minute hands carry luminous fill, and the hour hand is partially skeletonized. A convex sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, protects the dual analog and digital display, while a bidirectional rotatable titanium bezel with compass scale surrounds it. The solid case back and 100m/330ft water resistance round out the case construction.
The Breitling Caliber B50 thermo-compensated SuperQuartz movement is COSC certified and powered by a customized lithium-ion rechargeable battery that charges via a magnetic connector attaching to a port at the 9 o'clock position on the case edge. Complications include a chronograph, digital perpetual calendar, electronic tachometer, two daily alarms, GMT/second time zone, countdown and count-up timers, a flight take-off/landing and flight time log, and a high-intensity LCD backlight that activates automatically when the watch tilts to a 35° angle, along with a battery end-of-life indicator.
The watch is worn on a Diver Pro III rubber strap secured by a push-button deployant buckle, and is presented in unworn condition with protective plastics AD-removed. It is accompanied by a booklet and carries a Breitling warranty.
