Built around a 46mm brushed finished titanium case, the Exospace B55 presents its "Volcano" black dial with a partially skeletonized hour hand, luminous filled hands, and applied large Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The remaining hour positions are marked by smaller luminous painted Arabic numerals, while 1/100th-second graduations ring the outer rim. A sapphire crystal glare-proofed on both sides protects the display, and the crown features two gaskets alongside an integrated pushpiece rather than a screw-lock design. The brushed bi-directional turning bezel carries a compass scale.
Powered by a thermo-compensated SuperQuartz movement, the watch offers an impressive range of complications: a digital perpetual calendar, a flyback chronograph capable of measuring to 1/100th of a second with a maximum duration of 99 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds, an electronic tachymeter, seven daily alarms, GMT/second time-zone display, and selectable 12- or 24-hour digital time readout. Additional pilot-oriented features include mission elapsed time with countdown and count-up functions, an optional mission-start alarm, a take-off/landing and flight time log, high-intensity LCD backlighting with an automatic tilt-activation at 35°, and a battery end-of-life indicator.
The watch is presented on a blue rubber Twin Pro strap secured by a push-button deployant buckle, and carries a water resistance rating of 100m/330ft. Smartphone pairing via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) enables remote adjustment of time, date, and UTC correction, as well as phone call notifications on the watch.
