Reference LB0920131C1X1 pays meticulous tribute to the original Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI from the early 1950s. The 41mm platinum case is fitted with a hesalite crystal and a bidirectional rotating bezel secured by three screws positioned exactly as they were on the 1953 original. Water resistance is rated to 30m/99ft, and a non-screw-locked crown with two gaskets completes the period-correct construction.
The blue dial features luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and syringe-shaped hour and minute hands with vintage-colored luminous fill. A small running seconds sub-dial sits at 9 o'clock, while the chronograph — driven by a column wheel mechanism — offers a central seconds hand accurate to one-quarter of a second, a 15-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. The caliber B09 hand-wound movement contains 39 jewels and delivers an approximate power reserve of 70 hours.
The watch is presented on a black calfskin leather strap fastened by a tang buckle in 18kt white gold, and it comes complete with the original Breitling watch box and Breitling papers.
