Housed in an 18K rose gold case measuring 43mm, this Navitimer features a black dial dressed with applied rose gold-toned index hour markers bearing luminous tips, finely printed minutes, seconds, and fraction-of-a-second tracks, and rose gold-toned hands — the hour and minute hands with luminous fill. A small running seconds sub-dial sits at 9 o'clock, while a date window appears between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. The cambered sapphire crystal is glare-proofed on both sides, and the case is finished with a transparent case back.
The chronograph functions include a large central red seconds hand capable of measuring to 1/4 of a second, a 30-minute sub-dial counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The 18K rose gold bidirectional rotating slide-rule bezel — the navigation computer the Navitimer is renowned for — enables airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climb times, and conversions between miles, nautical miles, and kilometers. The non-screw-locked crown in 18K rose gold is fitted with two gaskets, and water resistance is rated to 30m/99ft.
Power comes from an automatic movement, caliber B01, featuring 47 jewels and an approximate power reserve of 70 hours. The watch is presented on a brown calfskin leather strap secured by an 18K rose gold tang buckle clasp, and is accompanied by the original Breitling box and Breitling papers.
