Housed in a 43mm 18k rose gold case, this Navitimer features a blue dial dressed with rose gold-toned index hour markers carrying luminous tips, rose gold-toned hands with luminous fill, and a fine printed minutes, seconds, and fraction-of-a-second track. A small running seconds sub-dial sits at 9 o'clock, a date window falls between 4 and 5 o'clock, and the chronograph layout places a large central red seconds hand at center, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. The case back is transparent, and the non-screw-locked 18k rose gold crown is fitted with two gaskets. A cambered sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, protects the dial.
The bidirectional rotating bezel carries Breitling's signature slide-rule — a navigation computer complication that handles airborne calculations including fuel consumption, climbing times, and conversions between miles, nautical miles, and kilometers. Power comes from the automatic Breitling caliber B01, which houses 47 jewels and offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 30m / 99ft.
The watch is worn on a calfskin leather strap secured by an 18k rose gold tang buckle clasp, and it is accompanied by its original Breitling watch box and Breitling papers.
