The Navitimer 1959 Edition pays homage to one of Breitling's most storied designs, rendered here in 18K rose gold at a refined 41mm diameter. The black dial contrasts with silvered chronograph counters and a silver dial flange, while Arabic numeral hour markers are complemented by rose gold-toned hands — those marking the hours and minutes carrying a luminous fill for low-light legibility. A finely printed minutes, seconds, and fraction-of-a-second track encircles the dial, and a small running seconds sub-dial sits at the 9 o'clock position.
Protection comes from a highly domed Plexiglas crystal, and the dial bears a Breitling inscription in capital letters alongside an unsigned winged logo. The 18K rose gold beaded bidirectional rotating bezel adds both function and visual depth. Powering the watch is an automatic movement — Breitling caliber B09 — housing 39 jewels and offering an approximate power reserve of 70 hours. Water resistance is rated to 30m / 99ft.
