Housed in a 44mm round stainless steel case measuring 14.4mm thick, the Super Chronomat is built to perform. A screw-locked crown with two gaskets and a unidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel reinforce its water resistance to 200 metres (660 feet), while a transparent sapphire crystal caseback offers a view of the mechanics within. The crystal itself is scratch resistant sapphire.
The black analog dial is fitted with luminescent hands and luminescent index hour markers for clear legibility in low-light conditions. Chronograph, date, hour, minute, and second functions are all on hand, with the date display positioned at 6 o'clock. Power comes from the Breitling 01 manufacture self-winding movement, offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
