Measuring 38 mm x 27.5 mm with a slim 7.5 mm thickness, the Santos Dumont's square steel case is finished with a fixed bezel and a beaded crown set with a blue cabochon synthetic spinel. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and water resistance is rated to 3 bar, approximately 30 metres.
The silver satin-finish dial with sunray-effect carries Roman numeral hour markers and blued-steel sword-shaped hands, delivering an immediately legible, classically elegant face. Power comes from Cartier's in-house caliber 430 MC, a manufacture mechanical movement driven by manual winding.
The watch is presented on a navy blue alligator leather strap secured by a steel ardillon buckle, and this example is accompanied by its original box and papers.
