Measuring 39.8mm wide and 9.38mm thick, this large Santos de Cartier is built around a steel case crowned by a bezel crafted in 18k yellow gold (750/1000). The 7-sided crown is set with a faceted synthetic blue spinel, and a sapphire crystal protects the dial below. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar, approximately 100 metres.
The anthracite grey dial features a satin-finish gradation that shifts subtly across its surface, complemented by sword-shaped hands in polished gold-plated steel. Inside, the mechanical movement with automatic winding — Calibre 1847 MC — keeps everything running with quiet reliability.
Versatility is central to the design: the steel bracelet incorporates Cartier's SmartLink adjustment system, while a second strap in grey alligator leather with an interchangeable steel folding buckle is also included. Both strap options connect via the QuickSwitch interchangeable system, allowing for an effortless change between the two.
