The sapphire crystal and matching sapphire case back frame the skeletonised dial, where blued-steel sword-shaped hands sweep across bridges shaped into Roman numerals — a hallmark of Cartier's approach to the Santos skeleton collection.
Inside beats the Manufacture calibre 9611 MC, a manual-winding mechanical movement comprising 138 parts and 20 rubies. Measuring 28 mm × 28 mm with a thickness of 3.97 mm, the movement oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The case is water-resistant to 10 bar (approximately 100 metres).
