At 39.8 mm wide and just 9.08 mm thick, the large Santos de Cartier houses the manually wound Manufacture caliber 9611 MC — a 138-part movement featuring 20 rubies, a 28,800 vph balance, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The skeletonised bridges are shaped into Roman numerals and coated in green lacquer, while grey steel sword-shaped hands mark the hours and minutes against the open architecture of the dial.
The steel case is fitted with a sapphire crystal and a sapphire case back, and the 7-sided crown is set with a green jasper cabochon. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar (approximately 100 meters). The bracelet incorporates Cartier's SmartLink adjustment system for a precise fit.
Versatility is built in through Cartier's QuickSwitch interchangeability system: the watch ships with both the steel bracelet and a second strap in green alligator leather, the latter accompanied by an interchangeable steel folding buckle, allowing effortless transitions between the two wearing options.
