The case back carries an engraving of Alberto Santos-Dumont's handwritten signature, a nod to the pioneering aviator who inspired the collection.
The black square decoration dial is rendered in translucent lacquer, populated with Roman numerals and fitted with steel sword-shaped hands. A sapphire crystal protects the face, while the movement within is Cartier's own Manufacture calibre 430 MC — a mechanical, manual-winding construction that underscores the watch's understated mechanical character.
