Housed in a 35 mm steel case measuring 10.09 mm thick, the Clé de Cartier WSCL0006 is driven by Cartier's own Manufacture self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 1847 MC. Both the crystal and the case back are fashioned from sapphire, and the watch carries a water resistance rating of 3 bar (approximately 30 meters / 100 feet).
The silvered flinqué sunray effect dial is read through blued-steel sword-shaped hands, lending the piece a refined contrast between the warm tones of the dial and the cool depth of the hands. The distinctive key-shaped crown — the defining motif of the Clé de Cartier line — is set with a synthetic spinel.
A steel bracelet completes the ensemble, keeping the overall aesthetic consistent with the case. As with all stone-set Cartier pieces, carat weight and the number of precious stones may vary slightly from one example to another.
