Housed in a round 42mm stainless steel case measuring 13.6mm thick, the Portofino Chronograph IW391031 features a fixed stainless steel bezel and a solid case back. The silver dial is dressed with rose gold-tone leaf-style hands, index hour markers, and Roman numerals at 6 and 12 o'clock, complemented by Arabic numeral minute markers at five-minute intervals around the outer rim. A day-of-the-week and date display sits at 3 o'clock, while three sub-dials track 60 seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours for the chronograph function. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a push/pull crown complete the case, with water resistance rated to 30 meters.
Powering the watch is the IWC calibre 75320 automatic movement — based on the Sellita SW500-1 — comprising 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph, and offering a power reserve of approximately 44 hours. A 20mm black alligator leather strap with a tang clasp secures the watch to the wrist.
This example from IWC's Portofino collection is Swiss made and comes accompanied by its original box and papers, making it a complete set for the discerning collector.
