Housed in a round 40.9 mm stainless steel case measuring 12.5 mm thick, the Portugieser Chronograph presents a silver-tone dial dressed with Arabic numeral hour markers, Arabic numeral minute markers at five-minute intervals around the outer rim, and elegant gold-tone leaf-style hands. A fixed stainless steel bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal frame the view, while a transparent case back reveals the movement within.
Powering the watch is the IWC calibre 69355 automatic movement — based on the IWC 69370 — comprising 194 parts and 27 jewels, oscillating at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours. A column-wheel chronograph mechanism drives two sub-dials tracking elapsed seconds up to 60 and elapsed minutes up to 30, alongside a small seconds display. The push/pull crown and deployment clasp complement a 20 mm black alligator leather strap, and the case offers water resistance to 30 meters.
