Housed in a round 41mm stainless steel case with a fixed stainless steel bezel and screw-down crown, this Portugieser Chronograph wears its classic proportions well. The transparent case back reveals the IWC calibre 69355 automatic movement — built upon the IWC 69370 base — comprising 194 parts and 27 jewels, oscillating at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours.
The silver-tone dial is rendered in clean analog fashion, featuring Arabic numeral hour markers, Arabic numeral minute markers at five-minute intervals, and a minute track around the outer rim. Blue hands sweep across the dial, while two sub-dials capture the chronograph's 60-second and 30-minute registers, driven by a column-wheel mechanism. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the display, and the watch carries a water resistance rating of 30 meters.
Completing the package, the watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet secured by a deployment clasp. Produced in 2024 and offered with its original box and papers, this IW371617 is a Swiss Made timepiece from IWC's storied Portugieser collection.
