Tracing its lineage to 1931, the Reverso was conceived with a reversible case as its defining feature — a characteristic the Duoface exploits to full effect by housing two distinct dials within a single rectangular form. The front presents a silver-toned display with guilloché patterning and luminescent silver-tone hands over index hour markers, while the reverse side offers a second dial dedicated to a separate time zone, making the watch equally at home on formal occasions and during international travel.
Powering both faces is the manually wound Caliber 854a/2, a 160-component movement that drives hour, minute, and small-seconds indications across the two displays. The 47mm rectangular stainless steel case retains the clean proportions established by the original Art Deco design, fitted with a fixed bezel, screw-down crown, and a sapphire crystal to protect each dial surface.
Worn on a brown leather strap fastened with a deployment clasp, this reference 3848422 is presented with its original box and papers, representing a complete 2024 example of one of Swiss watchmaking's most recognizable complications.
