Housed in a 40.5 mm white gold case measuring 12.2 mm thick, this Nautilus reference 5980/60G-001 features a screw-down crown, sapphire crystal case back, and water resistance to 30 metres. The case diameter is measured between the 10 and 4 o'clock positions, a hallmark of the Nautilus silhouette.
The opaline blue-gray dial is horizontally embossed and fitted with white gold applied hour markers finished with a white luminescent coating. Functions include a central chronograph hand, flyback complication, date displayed in an aperture, and a combined 60-minute and 12-hour monocounter — all driven by the self-winding Caliber CH 28-520 C/522.
The watch is presented on a hand-stitched blue-gray calfskin strap in a denim pattern, originally fitted to the case, and accompanied by an additional blue-gray composite strap with a fabric pattern. Both straps fasten with a Nautilus fold-over clasp in white gold.
