Crafted in 18K yellow gold, the 40mm round case of the Cosmograph Daytona 126508-0006 features a screw-down crown with Triplock triple waterproofing and a fixed bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale in matching 18K yellow gold. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above the champagne dial, which is dressed with luminescent index hour markers and luminescent hands alongside black-finished subdials.
Driving the watch is the Rolex Perpetual Calibre 4131, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement. It displays hours and minutes from the center, a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock. Stop-seconds functionality allows for precise time setting, and the movement offers approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
The watch is worn on an Oyster bracelet composed of three-piece solid links in 18K yellow gold, secured by a folding Oysterlock safety buckle with an Easylink 5mm comfort extension. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres / 330 feet. This example is Swiss Made and comes complete with its original box and papers.
