The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects a bright blue dial outfitted with luminous index hour markers and luminescent silver-tone hands.
Powering the watch is the Rolex perpetual mechanical chronograph, self-winding movement — caliber 4131 — offering approximately 72 hours of power reserve. Timekeeping functions include center hour and minute hands, a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock, a chronograph center seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, with stop seconds for precise time setting.
