Measuring 40 mm across, the case is crafted from 18 kt white gold and built around Rolex's Oyster architecture — a monobloc middle case paired with a screw-down case back and a screw-down Triplock triple waterproofness crown. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the watch is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The bright black and steel dial features Rolex's Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence for high legibility in low light. The Oysterflex bracelet is constructed from flexible metal blades overmoulded with high-performance elastomer and fastens via a folding Oysterlock safety clasp with the Rolex Glidelock extension system.
Power comes from the Calibre 4131, a perpetual mechanical self-winding chronograph movement manufactured by Rolex. It delivers a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, draws on a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, winds bidirectionally via a Perpetual rotor, holds a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and carries Superlative Chronometer certification — combining COSC testing with Rolex's own post-casing standards.
