Built around a 40mm 18K yellow gold case, this Cosmograph Daytona carries a fixed yellow gold bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale and is secured by a screw-down crown featuring the Triplock triple waterproofness system. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the white dial, which is fitted with luminescent index hour markers and luminescent hands. The watch is rated waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
Inside runs the Rolex calibre 4131 — a manufacture perpetual, mechanical self-winding chronograph movement. It displays hours and minutes via central hands, a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, with a stop-seconds function for precise time setting and approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
The watch is worn on an 18K yellow gold Oyster bracelet composed of three-piece solid links, secured by a folding Oysterlock safety buckle with an Easylink 5mm comfort extension.
