At the heart of this Datejust 36 is a silver dial adorned with a palm motif and diamonds set in 18 kt gold settings, framed by a domed bezel and viewed through scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens magnifying the date. The round, 36 mm case follows Oyster architecture — a monobloc middle case complemented by a screw-down case back and screw-down Twinlock winding crown — delivering water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet is rendered in the same Everose Rolesor combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold, secured by a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link. A solid case back keeps the movement protected from view while maintaining the clean lines the Datejust is known for.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3235, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement with a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing and COSC certification. It features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds for precise time adjustment, and an approximately 70-hour power reserve.
