A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above the chocolate dial, incorporating a Cyclops lens to magnify the date display. Luminescent hour markers and luminescent hands ensure legibility across all lighting conditions.
Inside runs the Rolex Calibre 3235, a perpetual self-winding automatic movement offering centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds for precise time adjustment, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
