Measuring 36 mm across, the round case is crafted in White Rolesor, Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and white gold. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens magnifies the date window, while a screw-down crown with Twinlock double waterproofness keeps the watch sealed to 100 metres / 330 feet. The solid case back completes a thoroughly protected package.
The aubergine dial is set with diamonds throughout, and the Roman numeral hour markers at VI and IX are rendered in 18 kt gold and set with a total of 24 diamonds. The surrounding bezel carries an additional diamond setting, lending the piece a consistently jewelled character. The Oystersteel Jubilee bracelet features five-piece links and fastens with a folding Oysterclasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Inside runs the Calibre 3235, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring alongside high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers.
