Built around a 31 mm round Oystersteel case, this Datejust 31 features a monobloc middle case construction with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown secured by Rolex's Twinlock double waterproofness system. The case is water-resistant to 100 metres and is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal housing a Cyclops lens positioned over the date window.
The black dial is dressed with Roman numeral indices, while the domed bezel gives the watch a classic, understated profile. The Jubilee bracelet — crafted in Oystersteel with five-piece links — fastens via a concealed folding Crownclasp for a secure and refined fit on the wrist.
Inside runs the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement produced by Rolex. It offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and is certified as a Superlative Chronometer through both COSC and Rolex's own post-casing certification. The oscillator incorporates a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry and Paraflex shock absorbers, while the movement winds bidirectionally via a Perpetual rotor.
