Measuring 31 mm in diameter, the round Oystersteel case is built around a monobloc middle case with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown employing a Twinlock double waterproofness system. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial and carries a Cyclops lens over the date aperture, while the case maintains water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The black dial displays the time through Roman numerals and a date complication with rapid setting, complemented by centre hour, minute, and seconds hands with stop-seconds functionality for precise time setting. The domed bezel frames the dial with clean, unadorned lines suited to the overall proportions of the 31 mm case.
Power comes from Calibre 2236, a Manufacture Rolex perpetual mechanical self-winding movement with bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor and a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The oscillator features a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry and Paraflex shock absorbers, achieving a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing — earning Superlative Chronometer status through both COSC and Rolex certification. The Oystersteel Oyster bracelet fastens with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
