Housed in a 31 mm round Oystersteel case, this Datejust 31 features the classic Oyster architecture: a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and a screw-down Twinlock winding crown that delivers waterproofness to 100 metres / 330 feet. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens magnifies the date, while the domed bezel frames the watch with understated elegance.
The silver dial is fitted with index hour markers and a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence for clear legibility in low light. Inside, the Calibre 2236 — a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex — provides a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and Superlative Chronometer certification combining COSC testing with Rolex's own post-casing standards. The oscillator employs a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry alongside Paraflex shock absorbers.
The watch is worn on an Oystersteel Oyster bracelet composed of three-piece solid links and secured by a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link, allowing for easy on-the-wrist adjustment.
