Housed in a round 31 mm case crafted from White Rolesor — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and white gold — this Datejust 31 features a fluted bezel and a solid case back with a screw-down winding crown governed by the Twinlock double waterproofness system. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date tops the case, and the watch is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The dark grey dial carries Roman numeral hour markers, while the date function is displayed through the signature Cyclops magnification. The Oyster bracelet, constructed from three-piece solid links in Oystersteel, fastens via a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Powering the watch is the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement by Manufacture Rolex. It delivers a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, and a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry alongside Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement is COSC certified.
