Housed in a round 31 mm case crafted from 18 kt yellow gold, this Datejust 31 features the classic Oyster architecture: a monobloc middle case, solid screw-down case back, and screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness system. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date sits above the dial, and the watch is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The silver dial is set with diamonds throughout, with Roman numeral hour markers and a standout large VI set with 11 diamonds. The fluted yellow gold bezel frames the dial elegantly, while the President bracelet — featuring semi-circular three-piece links in 18 kt yellow gold — fastens with a concealed folding Crownclasp.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It delivers precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and features a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry alongside Paraflex shock absorbers. Functions include centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, an instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. The movement is COSC certified.
